Certificate Supplement

The point of this initiative is to make it easier for students who studied vocationally-oriented programmes at the upper secondary level to seek employment abroad in an EU-member state country.

Certificate supplement to an upper secondary leaving certificate provides information on the vocational skills and qualifications acquired by those who completed a vocationally-oriented programme. It is issued by the relevant school and includes information on:

• Title of the school-leaving certificate
• A listing of the skills and competencies of the certificate holder
• Occupations open to the holder of the certificate
• The official status of the school-leaving certificate
• Officially recognised way to receive the school-leaving certificate.
